As the phone numbers you program into your panels determine where signals are sent, there is absolutely no requirement for any involvement from the Central Station. They will not even know that your accounts have been migrated to IP. You can move any number of your subscribers from one Central Station to another without a site visit or any involvement from us. Simply override the phone number in the AlarmCloud Platform and any future signals will be diverted to the new number.
Your technicians can log in with their laptop or use a smart phone App to view detailed information on the communications between the alarm panel and alarm receiver. They can see the panel go off hook, the phone number it dials, the quality of the connection and where DTMF formats are used, the signal it transmits. Your admin staff can run reports that will show how many live accounts and add-on services you have each month.

Telephone lines will eventually disappear completely, however, sending alarm signals into your Central Station via a POTS line and toll free number is the most logical technology to use today as Monitoring Companies need time to adapt to the world of IP. All IP devices configured to use our IPtoPOTS technology can easily be upgraded at any time in the future to use our AlarmCloud technology that sends signals directly into the Monitoring Company via IP. Our AlarmCloud technology provides options for two-way voice over IP, remote programming of panels and video verification.
